H4 Technology Partners with Face It TOGETHER to Expand Recovery Capital Index (RCI) Methodology to other Providers
Omaha – Aug 15th, 2019 – H4 Technology has announced that it has partnered with a leading peer-based behavioral health provider, Face It TOGETHER, to provide scalable data management services for their Recovery Capital Index (RCI) assessment, scoring and methodology.
“We are very excited to partner with Face It TOGETHER to be the data management platform to enable them to scale their RCI assessment to other providers across the country,” said Craig Christenson, co-founder of H4 Technology. “H4T’s background in behavioral health encounter data, assessments, and analytics on outcome measures aligned with Face It TOGETHER’s vision of a web-based RCI solution.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with H4 Technology and build the RCI on top of their powerful health analytics engine,” said David Whitesock, Chief Innovation Officer of Face It TOGETHER and chief architect of the Recovery Capital Index. “With H4T’s social determinants of health framework, we’ll connect individual RCI results to broader networks allowing us to design upstream solutions for addiction.”
Face It TOGETHER internally developed the RCI assessment, scoring, and methodology over the past 5 years to track and measure the recovery progress of the individuals they coach. In 2018, the RCI was externally validated as a reliable measure of addiction wellness, regardless of treatment modality, recovery pathway or substance. Face It TOGETHER will begin licensing the RCI to addiction care and behavioral health providers nationwide this fall.
“Our goal with the RCI is to establish a standard metric and language of wellness for addiction recovery,” noted Whitesock. Addiction is not a binary illness – sober or not sober. Addiction is a complex condition and sobriety is an inadequate measure of recovery progress. The RCI provides a meaningful picture of addiction health, measuring change in 22 areas covering emotion, mental and physical wellness.
The RCI provides a comprehensive baseline and tracks intervention effectiveness, allowing clinicians, support providers and other care team members to follow individual progress and tailor treatment and long-term support. Using H4T’s identification mapping feature, Face It TOGETHER can present an individual’s RCI results – with consent – to multiple providers and across continuums of care.
